Air Force One

A couple of days ago the President came to the Bay Area. My
assignment was to cover his arrival and departure at the airport. I
have seen Air Force One a few times in person, but had never taken my camera.

Tired Girl!

I had to practically drag her up the stairs (I had too much stuff to carry her) and then she fell asleep the minute we got inside (it only lasted a few minutes until she realized how uncomfortable it was going to be!) :) Finally, I was able to get her to the couch!

18 Months Old!!

So cute! I can't believe she is 18 months old today!!! She has the sweetest disposition, but is definitely trying to hold her own with her sister! It is so much fun to watch her grow and understand more/ try more things each day!

A little worried

Ohhhh...my goldfish fell! :(

Cucina Bambini

Last week, Haley was able to go to a cooking class with some teachers and classmates. It was after school at a place called Cucina Bambino. They made their own pizzas from scratch and decorated cupcakes. It was such a great experience! We hope to go back this summer!

Chopping tomatoes for the sauce

Tearing apart the basil

"Floured" Hands!

Rolling out the dough

"Mom, I put cheese on my pizza...I don't like cheese!" It was as if she never realized pizza had cheese on it! Hopefully this hasn't ruined her willingness to eat it in the future! She did not eat her pizza that day :)

Chef Cathy!

Haley's favorite part was decorating the cupcake!!

Actually, her favorite part was eating the cupcake!

Iowa-Part 1

Here are some of the pictures from the first half of our trip to Iowa!

Haley loved the pink tree on the river! So, Paul had some camera fun!

Haley and Grandpa Fred

Kyleigh joined in the action as Paul was photographing some of Grandma Jo's quilts

Kyleigh and her Godmother, Meredith

The famous "Lion" on the Mississippi River, across the street from Grandma and Grandpa's house

The girls love the train that comes though town each day...not like the trains in CA! When we heard it coming, we ran so as not to miss it...we then sat for about 5-10 minutes as it slowly passed!

Kyleigh at the hotel in Chicago the night before we left...loving her swimsuit!
