New York

Almost two weeks ago, Haley and I traveled to New York City to see one of my good college friends, Sister John Paul Marie, make her Vows for the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal! It was an amazing trip!!

Haley is ready to board early in the morning! Haley, Gina and I all flew together since Gina was meeting her own friends that same weekend. We spent the first day touring together, and then split off!

All of our friends didn't arrive until the next evening, so we had a day to take in the sights!

Haley is ready to go!! She was a great traveler! We had a few meltdowns due to lack of sleep, but overall, she did great!!

Real Italian Pizza! Our hotel was on the border of Little Italy and they were having a huge festival for the Feast of San Genaro. It made for some great entertainment to he first few nights!

On the very first night we arrived, we ate at this same restaurant underneath a tent on the street. We ended up being caught in a HUGE thunderstorm (or "flunderstorm" as Haley calls them) stuck under this tent. It was large enough to even shake up the locals and make national new for its destruction. Anyways, we finally ran into a restaurant with Haley screaming in my arms! It was quite a show!

The next day we saw a fire department on our walk back to the hotel from breakfast! Haley was in tears because she couldn't have one of their jackets! Random...I know!

Strawberry and Apple Picking

So, here is my attempt at catching up!! Between starting a new school year, traveling, and being sick and feeling tired (though NOTHING like my first 2 pregnancies!!), it's been quite a month! I am hoping to have a bunch of posts over the next few days!

A few weeks ago, we went apple picking in Watsonville. To our surprise, the strawberries fields were still open as well! Cathy (Haley's teacher) and her husband joined us with their niece and nephew. We had a slight flat tire set back on the way there, but we still made it!!

Baby Fifield

That's right...Baby Fifield #3 due this April!!

Haley is now old enough to understand (although some of her questions have been hard to answer) and the first thing she asked was, "Is it a boy or girl?" When I told her we didn't know yet, she said, "I think it's both!!" Don't worry, we had an ultrasound and we're pretty sure it's only one!!

A few weeks ago we went to see the newly renovated Happy Hollow! They did a great job! It was nothing like that when I was a kid! The girls loved the little rides and the animals!
