Today Haley and I went out to tea together! It was so much fun and she loved every second of it!!

She chose hot chocolate instead of tea ;)

We finally took Haley's training wheels off! She's been ready for a while, but we just never got around to it! We waited so long that we didn't even need to teach her. After hold her shirt for two times up the street, we realized she didn't need us!

Kyleigh's legs are finally long enough to ride the bike!

He Shoots, He Scores!

Luke loves basketball!! He's so excited to finally have his own hoop! When we're at my parents' house he makes me shoot hoops the whole time we're outside and whines if I stop!

Luke's Surgery

Today We brought Luke in bright and early for surgery. He had an undescended testicle that the surgeon brought down. He was hysterically funny before surgery when they gave him the "happy medicine!" He looked a little tipsy and kept kissing me. Then the nurse took him easily back to the anesthesiologist to be put to sleep. The surgery lasted about an hour and a half and he was not happy when he woke up :( .
Right now he is resting thanks to the codeine and doing well!

Lent

This Lent I got a great idea from looking at a friend's blog. She did this with her kids and it sounded perfect for my girls, especially Haley! I set it up, and then had Haley sit with me (and kind-of Kyleigh too) to fill in the blanks!

Each day of Lent the girls have a new goal or sacrifice for the day. Here's how it broke down:

Mondays-No juice, Tuesdays-Each gave a up a favorite TV show, Wednesdays-Make a cards for someone, Thursdays-No complaining when going to bed (I especially loved this one, and it went really well tonight), Fridays-Give money to the poor, and Saturdays-Say a decade of the rosary.

Haley was very excited about it tonight...we'll see if it continues!! I hope so!

And the fun begins...he's crawling!

Apparently it wasn't the book he was expecting! :)

International Day

The girls were cowgirls for International day and the dragon parade!

The international dances!! I was on the opposite side from the girls so they're a little hard to see!
