Haley always loves to knock down our towers, but now has decided to start making her own! And don't worry...she kissed "Mama Mary" before she put her on top of the blocks! Just a little good luck in case a crazy one-year-old decided to attack!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

It has been a rainy, stormy, windy fews days (feels like Florida during hurricane season actually!) and so Haley need a little time outdoors during a short break in the action!

Des Moines, IA; Media Hot Spot

Just wanted to say hi from Iowa. I have never seen so many press in one spot. I am here covering the 2008 Iowa Caucus. I tried to show you the main risers in the convention hall. I could only get part of it. I have seen over 50 satellite trucks all over Des Moines.

Christmas Photos

These pictures were taken when we went to have our family photo taken for the church directory. The photographer then took individual pictures of her. Haley sat there with her fingers in her mouth when we took the family shots, but turned into a little "Ham" when left by herself with the camera!

Haley's new favorite activity is playing soccer in the house. Now if we can just teach her to kick the ball more than she eats it!! Maybe her Christmas dress wasn't the most appropriate outfit for the occasion! Notice the victory dance at the end!

These were just some fun pics from today. The first ones is Haley trying to wear the tree skirt as a dress (the tree was outside being fixed) and the second is Haley trying to escape with my keys! Is this a sign of what's to come when she's a teenager??? I hope not!

Messy Eating!

This is what happens when you try to let her use her own spoon! She started by gently scooping her yogurt into her mouth, then decided that wasn't fast enough and moved on to finger dipping and eating. Finally, as she is continuously saying, "Mmmm," she proceeds to just try and lick the bowl!

Christmas Tree

We just got our Christmas tree and set it up! Haley likes it because it's little, like her! She is fascinated by it, but, suprisingly, has yet to attack it! Tomorrow we will decorate!

My First Baby

Haley received her own baby for her birthday from her cousins in Chico! Apparently we need to work on her "mothering skills," because she prefers to feed herself with the bottle instead of the baby. The baby just gets sips now and then!

Chad Visits from Florida!

Our friend, Chad, visited from Florida for the last few days and received the "Grand Tour!" We took him all over and Haley followed him closely behind at all times! She loved "Uncle Chad!"
