A Weekend Away

Last weekend we decided to go to Sacramento for the weekend to spend time together, just the 3 of us, before the baby comes!

We began by riding the Halloween steam train!

I loved the hotel bed..where are you sleeping Mom and Dad?

We had planned on going apple-picking in the El Dorado Hills (actually it was the whole reason for the trip), but apparently we were about 2 months too late!  Oops! :)  So, we picked apples out of bins!

I was hesitant at first when the lady started painting my face...

...but I ended up being so proud of my masterpiece!

Who knew poker chips could be so much fun!!

You can make numbers with them...

...and letters...

...you can sort them...

...and you can put them down the slide! I also made a lot of pictures!
Next week I'll learn to play poker!
